Night capture starts with a stable setup.

Moonshot Cam changes its capture and processing flow for the Moon and night sky. Results depend on the iPhone camera, target brightness, weather, light pollution, tripod stability, and telescope alignment.
Start here
- No live camera preview: In Settings, allow Camera access for Moonshot Cam. Return to the app in the foreground and close another app if it is holding the camera.
- Moon detail is soft or clipped: Keep the phone steady and retry. The focus guide starts in the center; hold and drag it onto the Moon. When Composition Grid is enabled in product settings, the guide snaps to nearby thirds intersections. Focus and exposure adjust automatically. After capture, compare Single, Combined and Recommended results.
- Stars or Star Trails fail early: Use a dark sky and a fixed tripod. Avoid touching the phone during exposure. Star Trails can preserve a partial composite after interruption when recovery is enabled.
- Meteor mode: Keep the app visible in the foreground with a wide, stable sky view. Auto-saved candidates remain in the app's private storage. Sessions are limited to 60 minutes and may end earlier based on device conditions.
- Telescope mode: Align a compatible eyepiece adapter until a stable circular field is visible. The vibration check must pass before capture.
- Moon alert does not arrive: Turn on Lunar Phase Alerts, select a Moon shape and time, then allow notifications in iPhone Settings. Alerts use an approximate lunar-cycle date and do not predict moonrise or weather.
- Moon Journal does not sync: Core capture and local records still work without iCloud. Confirm that the iPhone is signed in to iCloud and has a network connection, open Moon Journal by holding the Moon icon, and choose Sync Now. Only journal metadata and thumbnails up to 320 px use the Apple Account's private iCloud database; finished photo originals do not.
- Saving to Photos fails: Allow Add Photos access. Moonshot Cam automatically saves the finished Natural result. If Keep Originals is on, it also saves a distinct Best source.
Included in version 1.0
Moon, Stars, Star Trails, Meteor and Telescope are included. Moon focus and exposure are automatic.
Recommended results use real camera detail. Moonshot Cam may align, select, stack, composite, and tone-map real camera frames. It does not use generative AI to create craters, stars, meteors, or planetary structure.

- 실시간 카메라 화면이 보이지 않을 때: 설정에서 Moonshot Cam의 카메라 접근을 허용합니다. 앱을 전면으로 다시 열고 다른 앱이 카메라를 사용 중이면 종료합니다.
- 달 디테일이 흐리거나 밝게 날아갈 때: iPhone을 고정하고 다시 촬영합니다. 초점 가이드는 중앙에서 시작하며 길게 눌러 달 위로 옮길 수 있습니다. 제품 설정에서 구도 그리드를 켜면 가까운 3분할 교차점에 가이드가 붙습니다. 초점과 노출은 자동으로 맞춰집니다. 촬영 후 한 장·합성·추천 결과를 비교할 수 있습니다.
- 별 또는 별궤적 촬영이 일찍 끝날 때: 어두운 하늘과 고정된 삼각대를 사용하고 노출 중 기기를 건드리지 않습니다. 복구가 켜져 있으면 별궤적 촬영 중단 후 부분 합성본을 보존할 수 있습니다.
- 유성 모드: 넓고 안정적인 하늘 시야를 확보하고 앱을 전면에 둡니다. 자동 저장된 후보는 앱의 비공개 저장 공간에 남습니다. 최대 촬영 시간은 60분이며 기기 상태에 따라 일찍 종료될 수 있습니다.
- 망원경 모드: 호환 접안렌즈 어댑터를 맞춰 안정적인 원형 시야가 보이게 합니다. 촬영 전에 진동 검사를 통과해야 합니다.
- 달 알림이 오지 않을 때: 달 위상 알림을 켜고 모양과 시각을 선택한 뒤 iPhone 설정에서 알림을 허용합니다. 알림 날짜는 평균 달 주기를 기준으로 하며 실제 월출 시각과 날씨를 예측하지 않습니다.
- 달 일기가 동기화되지 않을 때: iCloud가 없어도 촬영과 로컬 기록은 계속 사용할 수 있습니다. iPhone이 iCloud에 로그인되어 있고 네트워크에 연결되어 있는지 확인한 뒤, 달 아이콘을 길게 눌러 달 일기를 열고 지금 동기화를 선택합니다. 기록 메타데이터와 최대 320px 썸네일만 Apple 계정의 비공개 iCloud 데이터베이스를 사용하며 완성 사진 원본은 동기화하지 않습니다.
- 사진 보관함 저장이 실패할 때: 사진 추가 권한을 허용합니다. 완성된 Natural 결과는 자동 저장되며, 원본 보존을 켜면 서로 다른 Best 소스도 함께 저장됩니다.
버전 1.0에 포함된 기능
달, 별, 별궤적, 유성, 망원경 모드를 사용할 수 있습니다. 달 촬영의 초점과 노출은 자동입니다.
추천 결과는 실제 촬영한 디테일을 사용합니다. Moonshot Cam은 실제 카메라 프레임을 정렬·선별·스택·합성·톤 조정할 수 있지만 생성형 AI로 크레이터, 별, 유성, 행성 구조를 만들지 않습니다.
